The US Accounts Chamber recognized the superiority of the Russian military in carrying out operations in the electromagnetic spectrum. This is reported by RT with reference to the department’s report.
Specialists prepared a report on the military potential of the United States, Russia and China during operations in the electromagnetic spectrum and concluded that the last two countries significantly improved their capabilities in this area. Director of Defense Capacity and Management in the US Accounts Chamber, Joseph Kirshbaum added that control over this area is necessary to ensure national security.
“We are not the only global power, which understands the importance of superiority in the electromagnetic spectrum. Potential opponents, including Russia and China, have significantly advanced in improving their possibilities in the field of combating electromagnetic spectrum and the use of this spectrum as a whole,” said Kirschbaum.
Kirschbaum noted that the Russian forces of electromagnetic struggle showed effectiveness “in the real use of these funds against the United States and other countries”, but did not lead specific examples. Experts believe that Russia and China are able to affect the operation of communication systems and navigation used in the United States for the transfer of personnel and equipment.
