Former general director of KamAZ Nikolay Bech

The former CEO of KAMAZ company Nikolai Bech died at the age of 75. This was reported to the corporate edition “Kama Kaza”. “

Bech was born in 1946 in the village of Behi Zhytomyr region, graduated from the Kiev Polytechnic Institute, the highest courses of the Academy of General Staff and at the International Academy of Business in Germany. He began his career from work at the Metallurgical production “VAZ” in Tolyatti, took the position of the chief engineer, then was transferred to KamAZ, where he headed the foundry.

In 1987, he became the general director of the enterprise, and after 1997, the Board of Directors of the Company was headed for a year and a half years. During this period, he also became an adviser to the Mayor of Moscow on Industrial Policy. In addition, he held senior posts at the Moscow Managing Financial Financial Company, SIBUR, OJSC Kurganmashzavod.

Bech – Professor and Honored Machine Builder of Russia, Author of 30 scientific articles and books, winner of the USSR Ministerial Council. Among his awards – the Order “For Merit to Fatherland III”, “Labor Red Banner”, “Friendship of Peoples”, “Honor Sign”.
