Head of the US Navy Headquarters Admiral Michael Guildy declared readiness to discuss with Russia Improvement of the Agreement on the prevention of incidents in the open sea and airspace above it (Incsea). This is reported by TASS.

“As for Incsea, I always think about how you can act better. Therefore, if the Russians adhere to a similar look, then I are open to discussions,” said Guild.

Military reminded that this year the planned Russian-American consultations will be held, on which the implementation of these agreements will be considered. He made that the prospect of modernizing the Agreement may be among the issues of the meeting. “I believe that we must be transparent and open any ways to strengthen safety at sea, avoid any kind of incidents that can cause damage to sailors from both countries,” he concluded.
