Russia reduced forecast for oil and gas production

The Russian government has reduced the forecast for hydrocarbon production for the next two years. This is reported by TASS.

So, in the country in 2021, 517 million tons of oil will be mined instead of the 560 million tons planned. For 2022, production is expected to produce 548 million tons, which is 10 million tons of less than previous plans.

Gas planned to roll out 698.3 and 743.1 billion cubic meters against 750.1 and 758.1 billion cubic meters in 2021 and 2022, respectively.

Also expected to reduce coal volumes: from 455 to 390.7 million tons in 2021 and from 465 to 389.5 million tons – in 2022.

previously became known that OPEC countries + decided to increase oil production. The agreement provides for an increase in the extraction of raw materials in May by 350 thousand barrels per day, in June – as much as, and in July – by 450 thousand barrels.

The Ministry of Finance of Russia reported that over the past year, in relation to the beginning of April, the Russian variety of oil Urals went up by two times – from 29.17 to 63.62 dollars. At the same time, the average price for the first quarter (from January to March) of this year amounted to 59.8 dollars per barrel against $ 48.18 a year earlier. Thus, the growth was 24.1 percent.
