Putin accused problems of farmers by bureaucracy

Russian President Vladimir Putin at a meeting with the head of the Ministry of Agriculture Dmitry Patrushev called on to fight the situation when farms can not get a loan, reports TASS.

The Minister said that since 2021, state support became more affordable for rural cooperatives. With its help, farmers can buy transport for the organization of field trading and mobile trade facilities themselves.

However, the head of state stressed that this is not enough. He noticed that loans remain inaccessible, and the bureaucratic difficulties are guilty.

In response, Patrushev indicated that farmers no longer need to collect documents to obtain such a subsidized loan, and in the future the process can be carried out at all.

Also, the head of the department said that in order to support the industry from January 1, partial compensation for transportation costs for the export of sugar, potatoes, buckwheat, bottled sunflower oil and grain was suspended. Putin noted that it should be supported by exporting goods with high value added.

Earlier on April 5, it was reported that the Ministry of Agriculture is going to control the sugar industry by the planned method. Each plant will receive quotas for the production and sale of sugar sales networks.

This decision is made against the background of the fall of sugar production in Russia in January-February 2021 by 2.4 times compared with the same period last year. The problem began to manifest itself immediately after the entry into force of the agreement on maximum prices for sugar with a wholesale and retail purchase.
