No decisions about indexing pensions for working retirees have not yet been taken, told in the Kremlin. According to the press secretary of President Dmitry Peskov, the corresponding proposals are already formulated, transfers Interfax.
“As for the indexation of pensions to working retirees, the government actively engaged in this topic, there are different considerations, the Cabinet of Ministers sent them to the president,” he said, stressing that no decisions on this bill were taken at the moment.
Pensions working retirees ceased to raise back in 2016. The reason for this was called the economy of the budget of the Pension Fund. In December 2020, Putin said that to return indexation it is necessary to find money for this. The head of state noted that the authorities think how to solve the issue.
In March 2021, the Minister of Labor and Social Protection Anton Kotyakov announced the preparation of proposals for indexing pensions to working retirees. Then he said that proposals were sent to the Presidential Administration. Speaker of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko, in turn, said that the money on the indexation of payments to working retirees would be able to find in the next budget cycle.
