Number of new COVID-19 cases in world has reached record indicators

In the past, 640.205 new COVID-19 cases were recorded in the world. Thus, their number has reached records from January indicators, follows from the Portal Worldometers for March 31.

The greatest increase in the number of infections was recorded in Brazil, it amounted to 89,200 cases. In the following are India (72,182) and the USA (68,756). Anxious remains the situation in France – there were found 41.907 new cases of virus infection.

Earlier it was reported that the third wave of coronavirus collapsed to Europe. In the outbreak of morbidity, new virus mutations and a sluggish campaign for vaccination of the population are blamed.

The daily increase in the new sick COVID-19 in Europe has reached record indicators since the beginning of February, which led to the resumption of restrictions, curfew and even actual locked in some countries. In particular, the French authorities plan to introduce universal quarantine again. Strict restrictions will operate at least four weeks starting from Saturday, April 3.
