Non-existent Russian lunar base will provide water

The Research and Design Institute of Chemical Engineering (Nihimmash) planned to develop a system for providing water to the Russian lunar station, reports RIA Novosti, referring to the proposal of the Scientific and Technical Council of the Organization.

It is noted that it is about intention to make the creation of layouts of water supply systems at present not existing lunar orbital station, lunar landing complex, lunar base and an interplanetary space station. The final decision to carry out such works is planned to be accepted in the near future.

In March, Russia and China signed a Memorandum on the creation of the lunar station.

In April 2020, agency, referring to Roscosmos, reminded that the Russian automatic interplanetary station (AMS) “Luna-25” will sit on the moon in October 2021.
