According to the publication, the US presidential administration Joe Bayden carefully studies China’s plans for digital yuan. Some of the employees fear that he can give impetus “a long-term attempt to overthrow the dollar from the place of dominant world reserve currency.”
US Department of Finance, State Department, Pentagon and National Security Council intensify their efforts to understand the possible consequences of the introduction of digital yuan. In particular, they want to explore ways to disseminate the currency and the opportunity to bypass American sanctions with its help.
