Microsoft Edge broke out the third place in the list of the most popular browsers. This follows from the StatCounter analytical company report.
According to the company’s current report for the last year, the leadership in the browser market keeps Chrome. Google service accounts for 67.09 percent. In second place, the Apple browser produced was located, which accounted for 10.13 percent. A third popular browser was called Microsoft Edge, which moved Mozilla Firefox – the latter’s share was 8.04 and 7.97 percent, respectively. Below are Opera and another browser from Microsoft – Internet Explorer. It is noted that the report concerns desktop versions of programs.
Specialists noticed that Edge scored a good course and until the end of the year will be able to break out to second place, leaving the browser from Safari behind. The popularity of the program is explained by the fact that Microsoft “bury” the old Internet Explorer browser, replacing it Edge.
The mobile version of the web pages is also available. In Top-3, Chrome, Safari and Samsung Internet were hit, whose share was 63.02, 24.87 and 6.04 percent, respectively. The list also contains UC Browser, Opera and Firefox. The cumulative share of the latter does not exceed five percent.
