British authorities have begun a “hunt” for a person infected with a new strain of coronavirus from Brazil. This was reported by the Public Health Service of England, a statement posted on the government website.
It is specified that to date, six cases of infection with the “Brazilian” strain have been confirmed, three of them in England. The identity of one of them could not be established, since the alleged patient did not fill out a special registration card when passing the test. Presumably, this person took the test on February 12 or 13. Anyone who passed the test on these dates but did not receive results or did not complete the registration form are requested to contact the authorities immediately.
