At the Vostochny cosmodrome, work has been completed on lining the gas reflector of the launch pad at the launch site of the Angara space rocket complex. It will protect the gas duct from thermal gas-dynamic effects during launches of carrier rockets.
Specialists of the contractor of the Center for Operation of Ground Space Infrastructure Facilities (part of the Roscosmos State Corporation) – Industrial Technologies have already installed more than 400 square meters of metal cladding structures and completed 550 meters of welded seams. More than 280 tons of metal have been assembled in total. At the moment, the site has been transferred to builders for pouring heat-resistant concrete. At the same time, the installation of a system for measuring the parameters of technological equipment is underway, channels for cable installation are being prepared.
