Today, February 22, 2021, as part of a working trip, the General Director of the State Corporation “Roscosmos” visited the Vostochny Cosmodrome in the Amur Region.
Dmitry Rogozin supervised the completion of the construction of the facilities of the first stage of the cosmodrome, examined the water intake structure No. 4, industrial construction and operational base No. 2 and the meteorological complex. In addition, the head of the Roscosmos State Corporation visited the launch site for the Angara family of launch vehicles, assessed the progress of construction work at the command post, centralized facility, launch facility and naphthyl process block.
As part of the trip, Dmitry Rogozin also held a number of working meetings with the heads of enterprises of the Russian rocket and space industry and a meeting on the construction of the Vostochny cosmodrome.
