Available a stable release of the interface to simplify network settings – NetworkManager 1.30.0 . Plugins to support VPN, OpenConnect, PPTP, OpenVPN and OpenSWAN are evolving in their own development cycles.
General what’s new NetworkManager 1.30:
- The ability to build with the standard C library Musl has been implemented.

- Added support for reading and writing key file format in libnm. Libnm code license changed from GPL 2.0+ to LGPL-2.1 +.
- Added rd.net.timeout.carrier option to initrd and provides new “link6” method support for IPv6 with addresses in the link -local .
