US President Joe Biden at the Munich Security Conference announced the “return of America” and the country’s readiness to defend Europe. His words are reported by RIA Novosti.
“I say to everyone: America is back! The Transatlantic Alliance is back and we will not look back,” Biden said.
According to him, the country is committed to ensuring the security of NATO allies within the framework of the fifth article of the organization’s charter. According to it, an attack on one of the members of the alliance is equivalent to an attack on the entire block.
Earlier, Biden accused Russia of attacks on the West and a desire to weaken NATO and the European Project. According to the American leader, the Russian authorities want to undermine the transatlantic unity.
