Kazakhstan: plane landed on track

An-2 single-engine aircraft performing an ambulance flight made an emergency landing on a highway near the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk in Kazakhstan. This is reported by Sputnik Kazakhstan with reference to the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the country.

According to the agency, immediately after takeoff, the aircraft’s engine power suddenly began to decrease, and the pilot made the decision to land, despite the inability to return to the airport. There were five people on board at that moment: three crew members and two medics.

The landing was successful, no one on board was injured. Representatives of the ministry have already left for the landing site, they have to find out the reasons for the sudden engine failure.
