The State Duma adopted in the first reading a bill on the provision of deductions for personal income tax (PIT) online, RIA Novosti reports.
If the law is adopted in the remaining two readings and approved by the Federation Council, it will be possible to receive a property deduction for personal income tax through your personal account on the website of the Federal Tax Service (FTS). Also, you will not need to fill out a declaration and collect supporting documents.
The document provides that the department will independently determine whether a citizen has the right to deduction, and appoint it. Among the grounds for receiving a deduction are the acquisition of real estate, the repayment of interest on loans (except for consumer loans), as well as operations on an individual investment account (if its owner has chosen the appropriate type of deduction).
