FBI Opens Bomb Investigation At Baptist Church

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and local law enforcement agencies have launched an investigation into the explosion of a homemade bomb in a Baptist church located in the American city of El Monte. The Los Angeles Times reported.

As a result of the explosion, the walls of the building were damaged and windows were broken. According to the local pastor, no one was hurt. It is noted that this church has become widely known for its statements against the LGBT community. The church has received repeated threats, and it has already become an object for the commission of crimes. An online petition to remove her from the city has garnered nearly 15,000 signatures.

Earlier in the United States, a man was arrested who threatened to blow up the headquarters of the Democratic Party in Spokane (Washington state). A man with a backpack with wires sticking out entered the building where the Democrats’ office is located and said that he had a bomb. The police who arrived at the scene surrounded the house, and all the people were taken out of it. The suspect was detained when he was leaving the headquarters, but he was no longer carrying his backpack.
