Support for SMEs employed in medicine and social sphere exceeded 4.2 billion

In 2020, more than 350 SMEs engaged in the medical and social sectors received financial support under the National Guarantee System. This is 2.5 times more than a year earlier. The total amount of support has exceeded 4.2 billion rubles, the Corporation said in a statement.

Significant growth compared to last year (167.5 percent) was also observed in terms of the volume of purchases by the largest customers from SMEs operating in the medical and social spheres. By the end of 2020, this figure exceeded 8.14 billion rubles.

These data were announced on December 28, 2020 as part of the “Entrepreneurial Hour”, an event held by the SME Corporation in cooperation with SME Bank. This time, the training webinar was dedicated to special measures to support SMEs operating in the medical and social spheres.

Previously, similar webinars were held for entrepreneurs operating in the fields of tourism, sports, industry and construction. Over 7100 people took part in the webinars.

Participants of the “Entrepreneurial Hour”, using examples of specific entrepreneurs who have received comprehensive support from the Corporation and its subsidiaries, discuss the main directions, mechanisms and timing of such support.
