The dog led the man to a vacant lot near the city dump, where a crying baby was lying on the grass. The baby was wrapped in a towel.

The Filipino picked up the child and took him to the nearest hospital. He reported the find to the police. Police officers identify the foundling’s mother. The child is currently under the care of social workers.
