Medical center employee who spoiled hundreds of doses of vaccine arrested in USA

Police in the American state of Wisconsin have arrested an employee of a medical center in the United States who deliberately spoiled a batch of coronavirus vaccine. This was reported by the WBAY TV channel.

A former Aurora Health Care staff member deliberately removed approximately 500 doses of Moderna vaccine from the refrigerator and left them out of the locker overnight, knowing that the drug would then become ineffective.

Employees of law enforcement charged the doctor with deliberate damage to the vaccine, causing material damage, as well as actions that have created a risk to the health of others. It is noted that by his actions the pharmacist caused damage in the amount of 8 to 11 thousand dollars.

At first, the pharmacist claimed to have left the vaccine outside the refrigerator by accident while taking out other drugs. Later, he reported that he had spoiled the drug on purpose and did it repeatedly.

Earlier it was reported that an employee of a medical center in the United States deliberately spoiled more than five hundreds of doses of Moderna coronavirus vaccine. Last week, he took 57 packs of vaccine out of the refrigerator and left them in notoriously inappropriate conditions. The medication had to be thrown away.
