Putin signed a decree to create a fund to help children with rare diseases

The President of Russia Vladimir Putin signed a decree establishing the Circle of Good Foundation , which will focus on helping children with orphan diseases. This was reported on the Kremlin website .

According to the decree, the founder of the first children’s hospice was elected head of the fund Alexander Tkachenko .

As RBK specifies, the organization he created has been operating in St. Petersburg since 2010 .

The document also states that the fund’s expert council will consist of the main freelance specialists of the Ministry of Health Russia , as well as representatives of scientific, educational, public, medical and religious organizations.

Putin announced the creation of the “Circle of Good” on January 5th. It is noted that the fund will be replenished through taxes for individuals over five million rubles a year.
