In addition, 24,217 new cases of coronavirus infection were detected in 84 regions of the country. Most of the infected were recorded in Moscow (5142), St. Petersburg (3341) and the Moscow region (1097). Least of all – in Tuva (24), the Jewish Autonomous Region (15) and the Nenets Autonomous District (1).
The total number of infected in Russia since the beginning of the pandemic was 3,308,601. Over the entire time, 2,685,723 patients with a confirmed diagnosis have recovered.
