A couple was raped and killed at a conciliatory dinner

A resident of Turkey was forced to marry a cousin, but she fled with her lover. The family then invited the couple to a supposedly conciliatory dinner and instead raped the young man and killed both. The Daily Mail reports.

It is clarified that a 24-year-old girl from the village of Bayramozu was subjected to pressure from relatives who demanded to enter into a religious marriage with her cousin. The girl managed to escape with her boyfriend.

When the couple showed up at a New Year’s party in a nearby town, the family invited them to come to a reconciliatory dinner. Instead, the young people were stabbed to death, and the young man was previously raped. Then their bodies were buried outside the village.

The relatives were detained by the police, and they confessed to what they had done, telling where the bodies were hidden. After the discovery of the bodies, the woman’s father, brother, cousin, whom the Turkish woman was forced to marry, and two other relatives associated with the murder were arrested.

Earlier it was reported that a resident of the Pakistani province of Punjab doused with gasoline and set fire to 14 -year-old niece after her father forbade her from marrying a cousin. The girl died in hospital from her burns.
