Biden blames Trump for starting riots in Washington

US President-elect Joe Biden stated that the storming of the Capitol in Washington was provoked by the current head of state Donald Trump . He stated this during a speech that he aired at YouTube CNBC Television.

According to the politician, Trump tried to use the crowd to disrupt the approval of the election results in Congress. “This was the result of President Trump’s relentless assault on democracy,” Biden said.

In general, he found the riots in Washington predictable. The democrat assessed the incident as chaos, and called its participants rebels and internal terrorists.

During the assault, Trump spoke with an appeal to his supporters. The politician urged protesters who broke into the Capitol building in Washington to go home. “I understand your pain, I hear your hearts: elections have been stolen from us. But you must go home now, go in peace,” he said.
