Belarusian opposition threatened All-Belarusian People’s Assembly with sanctions

The Belarusian oppositional People’s Anti-Crisis Administration (NAU) threatened with sanctions the delegates of the All-Belarusian People’s Assembly (ANC), which was initiated by the President Alexander Lukashenko . This is reported in the Telegram -channel of the organization.

Opposition representatives believe that the only goal of the SNC is to legitimize the Lukashenka regime in the eyes of the international community, and its delegates do not intend to discuss real democratic transformations in the country. “We will initiate the inclusion of the participants in the” gathering “in the sanction lists, as well as in the database of the Unified Crime Registration Book,” the message says.

The organization also called the meeting “anti-national and illegal in its essence,” and its participants are puppets who act as accomplices of the president to retain power and only imitate a dialogue with the Belarusian society. “What is VNS in our opinion? The highest form of deception of the people and mockery of democracy,” the NAU concluded.

The People’s Anti-Crisis Administration was established on October 28, 2020, as a representative body of the Belarusian opposition. It is headed by the former Minister of Culture of the republic Pavel Latushko . In particular, the body cooperates with the ByPol project, which publishes information about the crimes of the Belarusian security forces.

Formerly Prime Minister of Belarus Roman Golovchenko announced that the All-Belarusian People’s Assembly, at which the issue of the new Constitution will be decided, is planned to be held in early 2021 … The authorities intend to divide the events into two blocks – issues of socio-economic and political development of the country.
