Man trusted cashier and enriched himself by 1.4 million

A resident of the Australian city of Hastings, Victoria, trusted the cashier when choosing lottery tickets and hit the jackpot. This is reported on The Lott website.

The Australian, who wished to remain anonymous, explained that he buys a TattsLotto lottery ticket for his wife every week, and then asks the cashier to pick up instant lottery tickets for him so that the total amount of the check is 10 Australian dollars (570 rubles).

As a result, the Christmas Wishes ticket, chosen by the saleswoman, brought the man 25,000 Australian dollars (1.4 million rubles).

The winner noted that the cash prize will allow him to bribe additional gifts for his grandchildren for Christmas. He also plans to improve on next year’s planned trip to New Zealand with his wife.

Previously it was reported that a resident of the suburb of Australian Perth, Western Australia, hit the million dollar jackpot after his wife scolded him for his love of lotteries. The lottery winner stressed that now his wife has taken her words back.
