FBI suspects Iran of persecuting officials who did not support Trump

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) suspected Iran of involvement in harassment and calls for violence against American officials who did not support the opinion of the current US president Donald Trump about large-scale rigging during the presidential election. The Washington Post reports this.

According to the newspaper, 10 dozen people became victims of bullying, including the FBI director, a leading cybersecurity expert, as well as several representatives of election commissions. All of them, one way or another, stated that there was no evidence of massive falsifications.

Their photographs, addresses and personal data were posted on the Enemies of the People website along with accusations of “aiding and abetting election fraud.” Links to the resource and the names of officials were published in social networks with hashtags “remember their faces” and “no mercy for the traitors.”

Earlier, the President of Iran Hassan Rouhani rejoiced at Trump’s defeat in the presidential election. According to Rouhani, one of the reasons for the defeat of the politician was the “failure of the economic war” against Tehran.

December 15 it became known that the presidential candidate from Democratic Party Joe Biden received the electoral votes needed to win the presidential race. Trump has repeatedly refused to admit defeat in the US presidential election. He believes Biden lost the election “by a wide margin in all six wavering states” and the results were rigged.
