Described results of Israeli strikes on Syria

Eight members of the pro-Iranian formations were killed as a result of Israel’s attack on Syria. The consequences of the night attack are described in the post of the Human Rights Observatory.

It is noted that the strikes were carried out on weapons and missile depots of Iranians and the Shiite group Hezbollah , which are located south of Damascus. In addition, the military center of the “Syrian Resistance to the Liberation of the Golan” was also attacked.

Earlier it was reported that the Israeli army attacked the Syrian military near Damascus. The blow was delivered from the Golan Heights in the southern outskirts of the city. Material damage was caused as a result of the air attack.

The Golan Heights, which belonged to Syria since 1944, was invaded by Israel during the 1967 Six Day War. In 1981, the Israeli parliament passed the Golan Heights law, which unilaterally proclaimed the country’s sovereignty over the territory.
