SNCF controllers’ strike: 60 % of TGVs and intercités canceled between Friday and Sunday

A controller strike will lead the SNCF to cancel 60 % of TGVs and intercités from Friday 2 to Sunday 4 December, the company announced on Wednesday, November 30. A “progressive recovery” is scheduled for Monday, with three out of four trains for all TGV axes, according to a press release.

SNCF travelers provides one in two train for the North TGV, one in three for the East TGV, one in four for the Atlantic TGV, one in four for the South-East TGV, one in four for the Ouigo and an intercités Of two from Friday to Sunday, said the company, noting that the travelers concerned must be warned. Abroad, the company provides normal traffic for Eurostar and Thalys, one in three TGVs to Switzerland, one in two to Germany, one in three to Italy and no traffic to Spain.
