New useful function will allow you to quickly find out if your data has got into “dark web”

Google to Introduce Dark Web Report Feature for Gmail Users in the US

Google announced yesterday that it will be introducing a new feature for Gmail users in the United States. The function called the “Dark Web Report” will help users in searching for the “Dark Sepulfard of the Internet” and determine if their email address has fallen into the hands of attackers.

The feature will be gradually released over the next few weeks and will eventually become available in other countries. After turning on the function, Gmail users will be able to scan dark web for their email addresses and take measures to protect their data based on Google’s recommendations.

Google has stated that this feature was previously available to Google One users in the United States, but now it will be a public function and available to all Gmail users in the country. In addition to manual scanning, Google will also periodically send small reports to Gmail users on whether their email addresses or other personal data are found in any information leaks.

Esteban Kozak, the Product Manager of Google One, said that “If any relevant information about you will be found in Dark Web, we will notify you and provide recommendations on how you can protect this information.”

This new feature aims to provide Gmail users in the US with a safer and more secure email experience in the face of growing online threats.
