OpenAI announced the availability of a preview version of the ChatGPT desktop application for the Linux platform, providing an interface for using ChatGPT, ChatGPT Work and the Codex AI agent. The application is available for download in deb and rpm formats in assemblies for x64 and ARM64 architectures. Declared support for Ubuntu 24.04/26.04, Debian 13 and Fedora 43/44 distributions.
