Recent data from the StatCounter rating, which monitors global statistics on web browser usage, shows that Firefox’s share has increased from 3.79% to 6.44% over the month. This surge allowed it to surpass Safari, whose share is now estimated at 5.19%. Chrome remains the top browser with a share of 72.24%, followed by Edge at 10.45%. Rounding out the ranking are Opera at 1.81% and Samsung Internet at 1.41%. A year ago, the shares were as follows: Firefox 5.84%, Safari 7.34%, Chrome 66.59%, Edge 13.06%, and Opera 2.63%. These statistics are collected from a counter present on over a million websites.
Cloudflare Radar service data indicates that Firefox holds a 3.5% share, Safari 17.7% (broken down into Safari Desktop 3%, Mobile Safari 12.6%, and Safari Webview 2.1%), Edge at 6.3%, and Chrome commanding 68% of the market.
Wikipedia’s statistics show that Firefox’s share stands at 6.1%, Safari at 24.3% (desktop 4.8% + mobile 19.5%), and Chrome leads with 49.6%.
Furthermore, PornHub’s statistics reveal that on desktop systems, Firefox accounts for 8.4%, Safari 13.3%, Chrome 56.9%, Edge 12.2%, and Opera 7%. On mobile systems, Firefox only holds a 0.7% share, while Chrome dominates with 68.6% and Safari trails behind at 23.1%.
