LsFusion 6.2 Info Systems Platform Launch

The release of the project lsFusion 6.2 is now available, introducing a declarative platform for developing business and web applications. This platform is specifically designed for creating corporate and accounting applications and can serve as an open and free alternative to the widely-used 1C platform. The project’s code is written in Java and can be accessed under the LGPLv3 license. An example of an ERP solution for small and medium-sized businesses called MyCompany, developed using lsFusion, is also available under the Apache 2.0 license.

What sets lsFusion apart from other platforms in the market, such as SAP, Dynamics AX, 1C, and .Net, is its foundation on combinatorial programming (function-level). In addition to this, lsFusion also incorporates event-driven, reactive, and object-oriented programming methodologies.

Key updates in version 6.2 include:

  • Alternative keywords ACTIVATE and ACTIVE added for the SEEK and VALUE operators
  • Library JasperReports updated to version 6.21.5 with support for exporting reports with images in WebP format to Excel
  • Exported PDF reports in the web client now correspond to the form name
  • FooterClass
