Corporate inventory platform company Lansweeper reported an increase in the popularity of Linux among its corporate clients. According to data collected from scanning approximately 18.5 million devices, the share of Linux on corporate laptops and PCs grew from 1.6% in January to 1.9% in June. When considering only new devices that emerged after March 1, the Linux share reached 2.5%. Lansweeper’s technical director noted that this growth represents a steady, exponential increase rather than a one-time surge.
