Patient With Neuralink Implant Masters Mario Kart And Social Networks

Neuralink has released a video featuring 29-year-old patient Nolan Arbo, who has paralysis and has been implanted with the first cerebral implant. Arbo shared his experience, mentioning that thanks to the implant, he is now able to play Mario Kart with his father, explore other games, and post on social media independently.

Arbo stated that the chip from Neuralink has allowed him to feel like a regular person, enabling him to perform various tasks on the computer and continuously improve his abilities. He has even mastered playing certain games using only his thoughts, such as Civilization VI, as he has shifted his focus to strategic games after losing interest in chess games against his father.

The patient expressed his gratitude to the developers at Neuralink for changing his life and believes that this technology will benefit more individuals in the future.

Eight years ago, Nolan became paralyzed from the shoulders down after a diving accident. He was the first person to receive a brain implant. Recently, Elon Musk’s startup showcased how a person can play online chess using this technology.

It was reported that the brain chip operation was relatively simple, and Arbo was discharged from the hospital the following day. Additionally, he did not experience any cognitive impairments after the procedure.
