Olivier Véran announces opening access to a fourth dose of vaccine for older people over 60

So far, this dose was reserved for people aged 80 and over. This will not be mandatory.

The second VVID-19 vaccine recall dose will be open to people aged 60 and over, whose last injection dates back more than six months, announced Thursday, April 7 the Minister of Health Olivier Véran .

“We will be able to open this 2nd return dose for the French aged 60 and over if they are six months of their last reminder injection”, without it becoming mandatory, said the minister on the Radio RTL. So far, this dose was reserved for people aged 80 and over, an announcement made by Jean Castex mid-March against the rebound of the pandemic.
