Drones attacked US Coalition on anniversary of murder of Iranian General

In Iraq, two unidentified unmountable aircraft (CAP) attacked the forces of the international coalition led by the United States. About this on Monday, January 3, reports The Jerusalem Post with reference to military sources in the country.

According to the interlocutors of the publication, the Base Victoria at the international airport of Baghdad was attacked. It is noted that by the result of the incident nobody suffered.

Both drone managed to sink when adjusting the military base using the air defense system. At the same time, later on the wreckage of their wings, the inscriptions of the “Revenge of the leader” and “Revenge of Suleymani” – the attack was organized in the second anniversary of the murder of the Iranian general, the commander of the elite division “Al-Kuds” of the Corps of the Guardians of the Islamic Revolution (KSIR) of Caasem Suleimani, clarifies the newspaper.

In December 2021, the former head of the Military intelligence of Israel, Major General Timir Hayman admitted that the country’s authorities were involved in the murder of Suleimani. At the same time, he called the death of Iranian general Achievement of Israeli forces.

Suleimani died in Iraqi Baghdad on January 3, 2020 with a missile shelling by the United States. Together with the general, several accompanying officers were killed and deputy commander of the Shiite militia of Iraq Abu Mahdi Al-Mukhandis. In response, Tehran on the night of January 8 released dozens of rockets on American objects in Iraq. The operating operation was called “Martyr Suleimani”.
