In WHO were worried because of newest Coronavirus option

The World Health Organization (WHO) was worried about the newest strain of SARS-COV-2 coronavirus, writes RIA Novosti with reference to the statement of the Federal Public Health Office of Switzerland.

“The recently discovered version of Coronavirus B.1.1.529 is concerned. He has more mutations than it is known to science on other options causing anxiety. WHO assessed this new version as causing anxiety,” the agency leads the text of the application.

Earlier in the European Union, the timelines were called to which this new strain of the virus would spread: the head of the European Commission of Ursula Von De Lyien in his video message stated that it could happen over the next few months.

The first reports of infection with a new strain in South Africa, Botswana and Hong Kong appeared on November 24. Later, the news on the discovery of the next version of the evolution of COVID-19 appeared in Israel and Belgium.
