Schapan’s statement sounded against the background of the statements of a number of German politicians on the possible introduction of forced vaccination in the country. In particular, the Prime Minister of Bavaria Markus Zedener said that the increase in the number of illness among the unseasoned “punched ceiling”, and expressed the hope that the authorities would not have to introduce mandatory vaccination.
