Rocketo-Space Corporation “Energia”, enterprise “Roskosmos”, patented a suburbital ship for flight tourists and high-altitude parachute jumps, reports TASS.
The crew is in the spacesides outside the hermetic capsule. In the description of the patent it is indicated that “tourists should physically feel the features of outer space”, according to developers, the maximum speed of the ship with a decrease due to the design will not exceed 1 kilometer per second, so thermal loads will be insignificant.
Information is posted in patent for the invention, which distributed the Federal Institute of Industrial Property. It is also reported that the development will help increase the height of the jump with a parachute to almost up to 100 kilometers.
Previously, the founder of Amazon Jeff Bezos stated that by 2025-2030 his company plans to build a space station. It will be a “Mixed Use Business Park in Space” for researchers, media, space tourists and businessmen.
