In 25 years, artificial intelligence will become the basis of medicine, the head of the direction of digital medicine of the Russian company Invitro Boris Zinegerman believes. In such a prediction, he shared with “Ribbon.ru” in the framework of the Cyberreality project.
“Probably, after 25 years, medicine will turn into a pyramid, in the massive basis of which an artificial intelligence that controls various indicators of the health and condition of a person will lie,” Zingerman believes.
Zingerman adds that it is difficult to speak about traditional diagnosis in remote format, since high-quality monitoring is carried out on expensive and professional equipment under the control of professionals. However, it is possible to control the main indicators of the body at home now.
According to Boris Zingerman, in the future, the work of artificial intelligence and a living specialist will ensure a solution to 90 percent of health problems of patients. Only 10 percent of the most difficult situations will be solved in part in the medical organization, he believes.
