In Belarus, the possibility of organizing the state coup with representatives of the opposition is not excluded. The date of possible exclutions was called the head of state Alexander Lukashenko during recruitment meeting to the State Security Committee (KGB), Telegram-channel BelTA reports.
According to him, the situation in the country remains tense, despite the enormous efforts of the authorities to combat opposition-minded citizens. “The date of the next attempt of the revolution is the period of the constitutional referendum,” said Lukashenko, turning to the KGB leadership.
On October 14, the head of the Belarusian Council of the Republic of Natalya Kochanova reported that the referendum on the updated Constitution of the country will be held at the end of February 2022. She stressed that now the draft constitution is being finalized, and in the near future it will be taken to a national discussion.
