The Chinese Embassy in Washington commented on the content of the new US Directorate Report on the origin of COVID-19. This is reported on the official website of Chinese diplomsses.
According to the statement of Chinese diplomats, the report, “fabricated by the American special services”, is scientifically inconclusive. They also called for the issue of the origin of COVID-19 scientists, and not American intelligence. The embassy stressed that the continuation of such efforts from Washington will be in vain, since the subject matter itself does not exist and contradicts science.
Chinese diplomats also stated that Beijing strongly rejects accusations of the American side accusation in an obstacle to the investigation of the origin of the virus. It is noted that China will continue to make efforts to solve this issue on the basis of a scientific approach.
