Head of Roscosmos Dmitry Rogozin said that corruption on the cosmodrome East is defeated. He told about it in an interview with TV channel “Star”.
Rogozin noted that now the scheme of work on the cosmodrome has become much more transparent. He also explained that many stolen money returned to the construction site. Now the prosecutor’s office and power structures control the course of work.
“The work was accompanied by mass detentions and arrests of the casnocrads. This construction is under a microscope and a telescope of controlling bodies. We will simply not allow any facts of [Corruption] to repeat,” he said.
However, according to the head of Roscosmos, “it is impossible to say that there will be no incidents in the future,” since a very large number of people are involved at the construction site.
