Talibans surrendered to 100 resistance fighters

Militants of the Radical Movement “Taliban” (a terrorist movement forbidden in Russia) surrendered to 100 resistance fighters in the Nijrab region of Kapis province in Northeast Afghanistan. It is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the statement of the province’s governor.

On August 5, the Taliban took control of the capital of Capsa, the city of Mahmudra. Also on September 6, the grouping militants reported full seizure of Panjscher province and the end of the war in Afghanistan.

According to the representative of the rebel Ali Nazari, the movement takes 60-65 percent of Panjscher’s territory. He noted that members of the terrorist movement suffered serious losses during the fighting for the province with the rebels.

Ambassador of Afghanistan in Tajikistan Mohammad Zahir Akbar also confirms this information. He handed out that Vice-President of Amplla Saleh returned to Panjscher and at the moment performs the responsibilities of the President of Afghanistan.
