Former US President Donald Trump at the beginning of the pandemic offered to send Coronavirus patients to Guantanamo prison in Cuba. The authors claim that Trump asked assistants: “Do we have no own island? What about Guantanamo?”
Reporters note that the staff of the White House’s office prevented the former president to realize his idea. It is noted that Trump is not the first time to use Guantanamo to solve problems.
