Second party “Satellite V” was taken to India

The second batch of the Russian vaccine from Coronavirus “Satellite V” was taken on Sunday, on May 16, to India. This was announced by TASS Ambassador of Russia in India Nikolai Kudeshev.

According to him, the second party of the Russian drug has already been delivered to the Indian city of Hyderabad.

“We are very pleased that the joint struggle of Russia and India against COVID-19, which today is one of the most important directions of our bilateral cooperation, firmly rose to the rails and moves forward,” said Ambassador.

On May 12, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterresh made a recognition of the Russian Vaccine against Coronavirus “Satellite V” in WHO. “I know that such a process is already coming,” the UN Secretary General said on the results of the negotiations with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in Moscow. According to him, the organization appreciates that Russia has provided its employees the opportunity to make the drug.
