The Russian authorities represented by the Ministry of Agriculture refuted the possible rise in price of buckwheat and a number of other croup, which previously wrote media. The message of the department leads TASS.
“The current production volumes of cereal cultures allow you to satisfy the demand of processing enterprises and fully ensure the needs of the population in the main types of croup,” the message says.
In addition, the ministry develops additional measures aimed at preventing the further rise in price of buckwheat cereals. The agency pointed to the record last year’s crop of major croup: rice, wheat and buckwheat.
Earlier, on April 28, the media with reference to representatives of trading networks and suppliers reported the possible increase in buckwheat prices and other cereals in the foreseeable future. According to their data, in February, suppliers began to overestimate purchasing prices by 7.5-15 percent.
