Sanda signed a decree on dissolution of parliament

President of Moldova Maya Sanda on Wednesday, April 28, signed a decree on the dissolution of parliament. It is reported by noi.md.

The Constitutional Court recognized the unlawful announcement in the country of emergency, during which the legislature cannot be dissolved.

Sanda accused parliament in the usurpation of power and asked for help to power structures on April 23. “He asked the service and security service to take steps against the attempt to undermine the constitutional order and prevent possible destabilization in the country,” she explained.

On April 15, the Constitutional Court allowed Sanda to dissolve the parliament, who in three months could not appoint the government.
